The Enterprise-level Magento e-commerce website that Knectar recently created for Nexxt is shaking up trade show industry expectations by changing the historically clunky, time-sucking, and bureaucratic nature of trade show management. Nexxt’s vision is to provide show managers and exhibitors with a more streamlined and efficient trade show process.
System highlights for exhibitors include one stop shopping, delivery arrangements and set up options for all products and services associated with a given show.
Sounds easy right? It wouldn’t be if it wasn’t for the big brains of our developers and the Magento e-commerce system which we configured to associate each customer with a given show, booth, site, shipping method, tax class, custom product options, and date tracking for service products such as booth cleaning, among other things.
The administrative back-end of the system is a workhorse for the complex reporting and tracking system that Nexxt, as a multimillion dollar business, demands. Not only does the system allow Nexxt to track and process each order, it also accounts for hundreds of thousands of records, and includes the ability for advanced searches, filtering, and customized reporting.
