Unlimited Furniture Group (UFG), a U.S. based furniture distributor approached Knectar looking to expand their market with an online presence by building a multi-store, multi-product line distribution channel. To accomplish this goal Knectar created a customized e-commerce multi-site system based on the Magento e-commerce platform. UFG’s new system allows for internal administrative control over the content and products on all of their websites from one control center, along with the additional ability to create new sites without our assistance.

• Assisting UFG to seamlessly import their existing SKU’s to the new site
• Developing back end administrative tools for:
  • adding, editing and removing products and content
  • creating advanced product configurations
  • tracking and processing orders by account or order number, or user name + password
  • configuring and managing product categories. 
• Allowing for acceptance of both credit cards, Paypal and Google transactions at checkout
• Implementing a robust Amazon like shopping experience allowing customers to:
  • create, add to, save and share wish lists;
  • generate and read product reviews and ratings;
  • compare related products;
  • view past orders;
  • report a better price; 
  • save products in their cart for later purchase.  
• Applying advanced, fully-customized shipping rules (Fedex, UPS, USPS) for all types of ground and express shipping based on specific client criteria including international shipping rates
• Integrating a third party live chat option
• Social media API implementation
