Movies Vs. Books

A web-based, social, voting and commenting application that allows users compared books and their movie-adaptations.

Movies Vs. Books is a social media experiment that presents users with a basic choice: which is better, the book, or the movie adaptation of that book. On the back-end, the site is custom programmed using the CodeIgniter, and connects to the Amazon Affiliates using the Amazon API to derive the product ID's and image matches. It also utilizes the DISQUS commenting plugin to allow users to easily sign in and comment with their Twitter, Facebook, or Disqus accounts, or comment anonymously.
